On the 91st Psalm

More on the 91st Psalm:

God is a place of shelter in the midst of all kinds of threats.

God tells us not to be afraid

God will lead his people through the midst of disaster unscathed.

God will order his angels to protect us.

God will rescue, protect, answer and honor us.

On Prayer

Our God is a God of miracles. The Bible says in the 91st Psalm "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." And here's what else it says. He said, "I will declare of the Lord. He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God and I am trusting in Him."

He is my refuge, and He is my place of safety. Now we're talking about praying for our troops, but we're talking about people in fear of terrorists. I will say of the Lord He is my refuge, and He is a place. Can you believe that?

God has become a place of safety. He is a Spirit, and we can dwell in Him. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. And here again, we've got this tremendous covering of the shadow of the Almighty; and where that shadow goes, there you and I can rest, and that's what the Lord tells us. We can abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

You can have all these terrorists, you can have warfare, you can have bombs, you can have chemicals, you can have tornadoes. You can have all this; and you're safe under the shadow of the Almighty. "Because he's placed his love upon me," God says, "Therefore I will deliver him."

But it's for us who dwell in the shadow of the Almighty. We must dwell with Him, and we must abide with Him and make our home with Him. And when we do, He's bigger than all the terror. Wherever the danger is, where there's crime in the streets, where there's natural disaster, you're under that umbrella of the Lord, and He is my refuge and He's my place. He's my place of safety. You hide in Him, and then all will be well.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
—Philippians 4:13
